November 20th: "Contented people focus on the present."

The teacher of Ecclesiastes suggests four suggestions for focusing on the present and enjoying the journey of life:
When was the last time you a enjoyed a simple pleasure or celebrated "just because"?
Jesus says in Matthew 6:33 to not be anxious about tomorrow and to live one day at a time. Do you think it is possible to live like this? What are the challenges and are there any downsides?

- Appreciate the simple gifts of life. Find something in each day's living to appreciate.
- Remember to celebrate. Have some fun, throw a party or two.
- Enjoy your relationships. People in our lives are the most important part of our existence.
- Work with enthusiasm, whether it's at a paying job or in our homes or in a volunteer capacity.
